First Week
Week one is a race!
League Racing starts Friday, January 2, 2009 Each week will start on
Friday and end on Thursday. Each weekly newsletter will come out
on Fridays.
Individual registration starts one hour prior to inspection 1-1/2
hours prior to race. T-shirts & bibs are issued after waivers &
releases are signed and fees are paid. No one will be allowed to race
until a waiver is signed and fees are paid. Children under 18 years of
age need a parent or guardian to sign their waver. Each individual
will register separately. No bibs or t-shirts will be given out to
Captains. If a participant cannot make the first week of racing he or
she can pick everything up the next week. Participants must have a bib
to race. Captains will also pick up a Captain’s packet when they
register.
Buck Hill leagues meet in the Whittier room upstairs next to the
Tuckers Bar. Wild
Mountain Leagues meet in the Eagle's Nest Bar and Restaurant up above
the rental area. Hyland league meets in the upstairs loft.
Each team will have a table topper which will designate their team
table for the awards. You are allowed to leave bags in the rooms,
however we strongly urge you to put them under the tables out of the
way. Please keep track of your belongings, we are not responsible for
lost or stolen items.
Because many of our racers have the same skis, it is wise to write
your initials or mark your skis somehow. We have had a few pairs of
skis taken accidentally by people thinking they were theirs.
