RACE DAY -
You can check in any time during the weekend starting Friday afternoon.  You will sign a waiver and pick up your bib number(s) for your races.  You will receive a different bib number for each division you are racing in.  If you are on more than one team in a division, you will receive the number for the higher seeded team.  Your scores will be transferred to your other team.  You will need to stick your number to an existing Ski Challenge bib.  Bring one from the regular season.  You need to check in at least 1/2 hour prior to your race start.

Everyone will be required to sign a liability release form before participating.  If you have a minor attending without you, please download a form to send with your signature:  LIABILITY FORM

HOW DIVISIONS DETERMINED:  Teams are placed in a division after race #5 by using the medal average of each racer based on the average handicap after the best and worst are dropped. The top six racers' points (same point system as used in leagues) are then added up for a team average total. The 7th, 8th, or 9th racers may be used to break ties. Divisions are formed by grouping the teams with similar points together. Racers must participate in three regular season league races to be counted for state.

Remember - League Standings DO NOT determine State Divisions. Only average medals for racers who have participated in three or more regular league races.

WHAT IF I’M ON TWO TEAMS RACING IN THE SAME DIVISION?  You will pick which team you want to race with and pay $20 for that race.  We will transfer your scores into the other team’s scores at no extra charge so you can count for both.  You cannot make a run for each team - only one run in each course allowed.
