The
Buck Hill Pre-season leagues on Wednesday and
Thursday are Adult leagues for ages
18 and over. The new Friday league is for all ages. Course Inspection is at 7 pm pm with the race starting at
7:30 pm. These league will start Wednesday, December 3 and will run for
three weeks. The race usually takes an hour to an hour and a half. Awards
take place about 15 minutes after the race in Buckstone Lodge. This
league consists of a maximum of 16 teams. Teams can have a maximum of
10 members.
These leagues will run like our regular season leagues but, without
souvenir t-shirts and permanent, stretch bibs. Each member will still
receive a bib number which they will have throughout the three week
series. Teams will run in order and take one run on each course (blue
and red). Running orders will be posted each week. Awards will
immediately follow each race and will consist of Fastest, Fast, Most
Improved individual awards and also team awards.
For the All-Age leagues, individual awards will
be given to adults 18+ and kids <18 years of age. There will be a
trophy for the first place team of each league at the end of the
three week series. Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and I did it medals
will be distributed each week. Neck medals will not be included in
the final league awards for these leagues and there will not be
awards for Fastest and Most Improved of the entire league. All times
will be sent in to NASTAR.
You may race as a guest for $15 per time. You will not be
included in the fastest of the week or the team results.
