Individual Championships
At Buck Hill
Saturday, February 25th, 2012
The top skiers from each age group after
the first five races will be invited to race at the Individual
Championships.

SCHEDULE FOR RACE DAY:
Date: Saturday, February 25, 2012
Where: Buck Hill
Check In: 9 am
Morning Race: 10:30 am (Inspection 10 am)
Afternoon Race: 1:00 pm (Inspection 12:30 pm)
Cost: $25 Pre-Registration by
February 23 and $30 after February 23. |
To Qualify: Individuals with a number by their names in the
individual standings in the results newsletter after week #5 are invited to
participate in individuals. We take the top 15 or 20 skiers in each age
group (depending on the size of the group).
Race Format: Everyone will take two timed runs in the morning and two
timed runs in the afternoon. Kids and adults will run together. (age group 17-20 will be in the adult
rankings) We will start with the kids age 4-16. Then we will run eldest females, then eldest
males, next eldest females, next eldest males, etc. Each of your
runs will be compared to the fastest on that particular run. The
fastest person on each run will be a "0". You will receive a
"handicap" off of them. We will take your best three handicaps
to determine rankings.
An Awards Ceremony will follow
immediately after the last race of the day.
